Wendy Morrison is the Junior Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. Previously, she was a summer research fellow at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. Wendy holds a B.A. from the University of Virginia, an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, and a Ph.D. from Columbia University, whose Economics Department awarded her the Padma Desai Prize for best dissertation. Wendy’s research interests include macroeconomics and monetary economics. She is particularly interested in the effects of household and worker heterogeneity on the transmission of monetary and fiscal policy. In 2025, Wendy will begin as an assistant professor in the Economics Department at Duke University.
