We are pleased to announce the Macroeconomic Policy Perspectives conference series, a new initiative of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, the University of Chicago, and Stanford University. These events will bring together researchers in various fields of economics to address important policy issues.




The first conference, Banking, Regulation, and Macroeconomic Outcomes, will be hosted in person and livestreamed by the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis on October 17–18, 2024. The 2025 conference will be hosted by the University of Chicago and the 2026 conference by Stanford University. Each conference will include academic presentations and a policy panel with leading experts in the field.
