Everyone entering the building must present a picture ID.
Public Transportation
The Fed is accessible via several Metro Transit bus routes, and is located approximately five blocks north of the Warehouse District light rail station.
Parking at The Minneapolis Fed
The Federal Reserve Bank is located at 90 Hennepin, on the corner of Hennepin Ave and N 1st St. Visitors enter through the main entrance off Hennepin Ave. There are several public parking options.
Metered Parking
Meters have a two-hour limit. Some meters are unavailable during the morning and evening rush hours due to bus lane restrictions. Meters accept cash or credit at a central pay station.
Hennepin Avenue impark Ramp | 25 N 1st St.
The entrance is on First Street North between Hennepin Avenue and First Avenue North.
The Archive Ramp | 110 N 1st St.
The entrance is on Azine Alley.
Second + Second Ramp | 128 N 2nd St.
The entrance is on Second Ave N between 1st St N and 2nd St N.
Nicollet Island Surface Lot | 16 Wilder St.
The lot located on Nicollet Island is accessed by traveling east on the Hennepin Avenue bridge and turning right onto Wilder Street.

Directions to our Minneapolis location
From the North
Via I94 East: From eastbound I94 take the downtown Fourth Street exit. Proceed two blocks on Fourth Street to Hennepin Avenue and turn left, then travel four blocks on Hennepin and turn left onto First Street North. The Minneapolis Fed is the first building on the right.
Via I35 South: From I35 South exit on Washington Ave. S. Turn right onto Washington and proceed to Hennepin Ave. Turn right on Hennepin Ave for two blocks to First Street N. Turn left onto First Street N. The Minneapolis Fed is the first building on the right.
From the East
Drive I94 West to the Fifth Street exit and proceed to Park Avenue. Turn right on Park Avenue for three blocks to Washington Avenue, then left on Washington Avenue for six blocks to Hennepin Avenue. Turn right onto Hennepin Avenue and go two blocks to First Street North, turn left. The Minneapolis Fed is the first building on the right.
From the South
Drive I35 North and take the Fifth Avenue exit. Travel Fifth Avenue and take a left onto Washington Avenue. Follow Washington for five blocks to Hennepin Avenue and take a right, go two blocks to First Street North, turn left. The Minneapolis Fed is the first building on the right.
From the West
Drive I394 and take the Washington/3rd Avenue exit. Cross Washington Avenue and continue east to First Street North. Turn right. The Minneapolis Fed is on the left.
From the Airport
The Bank is approximately 25 minutes from the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport.
