Tony Sertich

Tony Sertich has served as the president and CEO of the Northland Foundation for more than a decade. The foundation serves the seven counties and five tribal nations of northeast Minnesota and provides grants to nonprofits, loans and technical assistance to small businesses, and programming across generations.

Before that, Sertich spent two decades in the public sector. He led the Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation Board, a state agency focused on economic and community development in northeastern Minnesota. He was also elected six times to the Minnesota House of Representatives. Sertich served four of those years as the House majority leader. He has also served on numerous boards and commissions, including the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority, Duluth Seaway Port Authority, and Essentia Health East Market Board.
