Tim Marx

Tim Marx serves as counsel in Winthrop & Weinstine’s real estate finance, affordable housing, regulatory and government relations, and nonprofit corporation practices. Marx has nearly 40 years of public service including a decade as president and CEO of Catholic Charities.

He has previous experience as a practicing lawyer, public official (city attorney and deputy mayor of St. Paul and Minnesota Housing Finance Agency commissioner), and nonprofit leader (executive director of Breaking Ground in New York City). His significant civic involvement includes current board service for Fairview Health Services, the Twin Cities Housing Alliance, and the National Alliance to End Homelessness.
