Tavis Morello Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Legal Division

Tavis Morello is vice president and deputy general counsel in the Legal Division at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. He joined the Bank in 2020 as a senior attorney, became a senior counsel in 2021, became assistant vice president in 2022, and began serving in his current role in July 2023.

During his time at the Bank, Tavis has contributed to a number of key initiatives, including substantial procurement efforts, providing counsel to collaborators across Bank departments, and supporting the Paycheck Protection Program Liquidity Facility.

Before joining the Bank, Tavis was an attorney at a large Boston law firm and held managing roles in the legal departments of two publicly traded companies headquartered in the Twin Cities area.

Tavis has a B.A. in political science from the University of Pennsylvania, a B.S. in economics, business, and public policy from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a J.D. from Boston College Law School.
