Nation Wright (Leech Lake Ojibwe) is the chief operating officer of the American Indian Community Development Corporation, which provides affordable housing and homelessness services primarily to the Minneapolis American Indian community. He takes pride in providing hope and support to those who are homeless and struggling with addiction.
Wright serves as board treasurer of Dream of Wild Health, an Indigenous foods cultivator and provider, and is an executive member of the Minneapolis Public Schools American Indian Parent Advisory Committee. He is also a powwow and ceremonial singer who passes these teachings down to his two sons and others in the community. Wright grew up in the Minneapolis American Indian community.
