Michael Prom is the assistant vice president of service design and engineering for the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. He has primary leadership responsibilities for the Ninth District’s comprehensive IT solutions strategy, including architecture, engineering, and deployment of on-premise and cloud-based technology solutions.
His team’s goal is to accelerate secure and efficient adoption of cloud and modern architecture for the Bank.
Prior to joining the Bank in 2022, he was a consultant within Deloitte’s cloud engineering practice, and held leadership and engineering roles within the medical device industry.
Michael earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota and a master’s degree in software engineering from the University of St. Thomas.
