Laura VedderAssistant Vice President, Treasury Services

Laura Vedder is responsible for Treasury Services’ compliance and risk program, including vendor management. She also oversees organizational change management, communications, and related leadership activities.

Before joining the Bank in 2024 as a director for procurement and vendor management, Laura was the assistant director for contracts and procurement at the Metropolitan Council. Prior to that, Laura was general counsel to two federally recognized American Indian tribes, providing legal advice on federal, state, and tribal laws and policies and procedures. She also has experience as a prosecutor.

Laura holds a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a JD from the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
