Kreg WeigandSenior Vice President and General Auditor

Kreg Weigand is senior vice president and general auditor. In this role, he leads the Bank’s internal audit department, which is charged with evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the organization’s risk management, internal controls, and governance processes. Kreg reports to the Minneapolis Board of Directors’ Audit Committee.

Prior to becoming general auditor at the Minneapolis Fed in 2026, Kreg was vice president of corporate audit at Cargill and a partner with KPMG.

Kreg holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Saint John’s University.
