
Research interests
Kjetil Storesletten is a consultant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and the Richard and Beverly Fink Professor of Economics at the University of Minnesota, where he serves as director of the Heller-Hurwicz Economics Institute. He is also a fellow of the Econometric Society. Previously, Kjetil held positions at the Bank as a senior economist and monetary advisor.
Kjetil received his undergraduate degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests include political economy, asset pricing, and development economics.
Kjetil’s work has appeared in the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the American Economic Review, and Econometrica, among other journals. He was managing editor and, later, chairman of the Review of Economic Studies. Kjetil has also served as president of the European Economic Association.
