Kara Kersteter oversees day‑to‑day operations and manages a broad portfolio of support and technology services.

Kara comes to the Bank after a long tenure at the University of Minnesota, where she provided general research support in several departments. Prior to joining the Bank, she served as chief of staff in the department of economics, where she managed operations and compliance and helped shape the department’s strategic priorities.

Kara holds a bachelor’s in medieval studies from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
