Jon Kleinberg is a professor at Cornell University. His research focuses on the interaction of algorithms and networks, and the roles they play in large-scale social and information systems. His work has also analyzed the role of algorithms in societal decision-making, in domains including hiring and the criminal justice system.
He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
