Jeff HarmeningClass C Director

Jeff Harmening was named CEO and a member of the board of directors of General Mills on June 1, 2017. He was elected to serve as chairman effective January 1, 2018. Harmening joined General Mills in 1994 and has held leadership positions for the company in the United States and Europe. He previously served as president and chief operating officer for General Mills, where he shaped strategies for the company’s four global operating segments and had oversight over Global Supply Chain and Innovation, Technology and Quality areas. He began his career as a financial analyst with Eli Lilly and Company. Harmening serves on the boards of Consumer Brands Association and the Toro Company.

Harmening is a graduate of DePauw University and received his MBA from Harvard.
