Byron Reeves Vice President, Program Assurance Function

Byron Reeves leads program assurance activities across the Federal Reserve System. The Program Assurance Function, which is part of National IT, is charged with delivering technology programs and projects that address evolving business needs and support strategic priorities.

Prior to joining the Minneapolis Fed in 2024, Byron served as assistant vice president for IT Strategy and Enterprise Platforms with the Richmond Fed. He joined the Federal Reserve System in 2017 as a program director in Richmond, where he supported a technology program for supervision and regulation at the Board of Governors.

Byron holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Virginia Tech and an MBA with a concentration in technology and finance from Virginia Commonwealth University.
