Bernard “Bernie” Sinner has been the president and senior lending officer of BankNorth since 2015. Prior work experience includes serving as a real estate lender at the State Bank of Fargo in North Dakota; as an accountant and farm laborer for the family farm near Casselton, North Dakota; and as an agricultural and commercial lender at First Bank in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Sinner has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Saint John’s University (Minnesota) and attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin–Madison.

Sinner serves on the board of directors of the North Dakota Bankers Association (NDBA) and is currently its chair-elect. His significant history of volunteer service on a variety of initiatives earned him the Casselton Business Association’s Bradley J. Burgum Community Service Award in 2010.
