The Opportunity & Inclusive Growth Institute is pleased to announce its annual Research Conference. This event will feature presentations and critical discussions of the frontier academic research with which the Institute engages. A broad scholarly exchange of ideas around presented papers will be encouraged.
The keynote speaker will be Raphael Bostic, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Bostic’s career in public service includes positions at the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Board of Governors. He also spent many years as a professor at the University of Southern California. His research has spanned many fields, including homeownership, housing finance, neighborhood change, and the role of institutions in shaping policy effectiveness.
The second day of the conference is an Early Career Researchers’ Workshop, which will focus on developing research of scholars who have completed their Ph.D. in the last eight years (from 2016 to 2023).
The organizer of the Institute Research Conference is Amanda Michaud. The 2024 conference program committee members are Sandra Black, Louphou Coulibaly, Diego Daruich, Illenin Kondo, Oksana Leukhina, Amanda Michaud, and Pinghui Wu. The program and photos from last year’s conference can be found here.
