Our Regional Outreach team gathers survey data from firms throughout the Ninth District to better track the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses and the broader economy. Ron Wirtz, Regional Outreach director, hosted a live webinar to discuss the latest survey results, and he shared where and whom the pandemic is hitting the hardest.

Ron Wirtz is a Minneapolis Fed regional outreach director. Ron tracks current business conditions, with a focus on employment and wages, construction, real estate, consumer spending, and tourism.
