Kirsten Simon Assistant General Auditor and Assistant Vice President, Audit

Kirsten Simon is the assistant general auditor and assistant vice president of the audit department. She is responsible for day-to-day operations and the oversight of all audit department functions. The internal audit team is responsible for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the organization's risk management, internal controls, and governance processes, and assists the Minneapolis Fed Board of Directors Audit Committee in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities.

Prior to joining the audit department in 2013, Kirsten worked in the Bank’s enterprise risk and cash functions.

Kirsten has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota and has completed coursework for her master’s degree in leadership and management.
