National Consumer Protection Week

March 2, 2008, marks the start of National Consumer Protection Week ("NCPW"), a week designed to highlight consumer protection and education efforts. This year's theme, "Financial Literacy: A Sound Investment" focuses on the importance of education as the first line of defense for consumers who want to manage their money wisely and protect themselves from frauds and rip-offs.
